So, may 1st was pretty much the best day of my life. My friend reba and i drove to Orlando to see my favorite band(I Am Ghost) in concert. Well, I saw the concert which was freaking amazing and afterwords, I went to stand by the merch tables. The bassist(Ronnie) was about to walk by and then he stops and starts talking to me! We talked for a few minutes and then he gave me the guitar pick he used for the show(and it's green, my fave color). Then the lead singer(Steve) and the drummer(Justin) head over and i talked to them for a while as well. Steve is so fun, sneaking up on me and shoving me around, it's like we were friends already. I asked Justin where he got his awesome IAG bandana, which he had tied round his neck. He told me it was only sold in the UK stores and even though he was in the band, it was his only one. THEN, he took it off and gave it to ME! He said it was sweaty from the show and that i should prolly wash it. The odd thing is that i haven't washed it and it actually smells GOOD! Like Really good! Hell! I've already worn it twice!
I went ahead and started collecting stickers and postcards off the table and getting my autographs as well. I had been with the band prolly an hour at this point and then the guys who worked in the club started shooing people out. To my horror, I had not gotten Ronnie's autograph any of the times i had talked with him! I went to Steve all sad and said "Steve, can you help me".I told him i had 4 out of 5 autographs but was still missing Ronnies. He looked at me and said "You're so cute." He then said that if we went out to one of the side streets, that that was where they were loading up their stuff and said we should go hang out with them. So of course we did and so we were with them for prolly another hour or so. When it was time to go, some of them even gave me their own myspaces(not the bands'. I got all my hugs and said my goodbye's. The funny thing is, i feel like we were friends already and i miss my friends! Unfortunately, they live in Cali and don't get over to the east coast very often. Still, I can't wait for them to come back, doesn't even have to be in this state. I'll drive to see the again. It was worth every dollar and mile and i hope they come back next year!
